Attorney David T. Oliver focuses his practice on general civil and commercial litigation and appeals in the areas of corporate and business disputes, probate and trust litigation, contract disputes, real property litigation, construction litigation and community association law. David is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Education: David received a bachelor’s degree, with Distinction, from Virginia Military Institute and in 2008 obtained his Juris Doctorate, with Honors, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.

Professional: David believes that a robust local Bar benefits both clients and lawyers. David is a Barrister in the Calusa Inn of Court. The main objective of an Inn of Court is to promote excellence in legal advocacy, as well as professionalism, civility and ethics in the legal profession. He is a past president of both the Charlotte County Bar Association and the Charlotte County Young Lawyers Division, and served on the Board of Directors of the Lake County Bar Association. He previously served on the Florida Bar's Diversity and Inclusion Committee. He is a member of the Trial Lawyers and Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Sections of the Florida Bar and the Charlotte County Bar Association.

Service: David served as a Reserve Officer in the United States Army. While in law school, David deployed with his Florida National Guard unit for active duty in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
